About this Site

This site was compiled after a trip to Port au Prince, Haiti in November 2003. It shows only a small slice of the Haitian dog population - but their photos, and the story of Ti-gba (a little puppy who had been run over and who made the trip to the United States for treatment and rehoming), will hopefully make you reflect on many things - our dogs here in the US as compared to these dogs, poverty in Haiti, the nature of compassion, and more.
