How to Help There are currently very few programs in place in Mexico that allow for "easy" ways for non residents to help. Here are, however, some steps you can take to put pressure on both the Mexican government and the international animal organizations to turn their attention to this problem.

Contact
the Embassy of Mexico and inform them of your concern about the treatment
of stray dogs. Encourage them to work with existing groups in Mexico,
and let them know your reluctance to travel to Mexico until action is
taken.
